March has been a very exhausting month, and I did not think I would read more than a book to be 100% honest with you. We all tested positive to COVID in the house, and it was horrible. I’m not a big sleeper, like at all… well with covid I would sleep days and nights and still feel exhausted. It was mad and now i’m back to no sleep so… it’s fun (no).
I started the month by re-reading Infinity Son by Adam Silvera, because in March Infinity Reaper came out so I wanted to re-read it before receiving it (spoilers: I still haven’t read it, in the end, even though I’m so excited about it ….. don’t ask!). This re-read was even better than the first time. I remember enjoying it the first time, but not as much as during the re-read. I picked up on more details, and there were stuff I couldn’t remember. This re-read was definitely worth it.
Then I read A Good Girl’s Guide To Murder by Holly Jackson, and please tell me why I waited so long to read this one ? Probably the hype it received on bookstagram that scared me… Anyway, I was not disappointed at all and ended up reading it super quickly, because I couldn’t put it down. I needed to know! 100% recommending this one.
Signs Point To Yes by Sandy Hall was a lovely read. I would have wanted more and it was a bit cheesy, but I really enjoyed reading this little sweet romance. It was lovely and easy to read, so if you are looking for a quick and cute read just go for it!
I finished the month with Red, White and Royal Blue by Casey McQuiston and I’m sorry … but I really did not like this book at all. I had DNFed it last year, but decided to give it another go … and no, sorry it wasn’t for me. The romance was cute, I have to agree with that but I was bored most of the time and I just couldn’t wait for it to be over. I guess I might have had too many expectations because of all the hype on bookstagram and twitter. If you’ve read it, let me know your opinion on this one.
I also read a fanfiction on Wattpad about Why Don’t We, (I’m not counting it in my ‘read’ but I had to mention it here!) and it was hilarious! omg guys, I don’t even know how I managed to read it, it was so mad but I laughed so much!
