[Review] Elle’s A to Z of Love – Claire Huston

I was so excited when I received the email from Claire Huston to offer me to review her new novel. It’s being released today – July 6th, 2021. Thank you for sending me an e-arc copy in exchange for an honest review.

Haileybrook, a beautiful village in the peaceful Cotswolds countryside, is most people’s idea of heaven on earth.

Born and raised in this small slice of paradise, Elle Bea can’t wait to leave.

It should be easy, but every time she packs her bags for exotic adventures, old loves and loyalties pull her back.

Will Elle be forced to forget her dreams of far-flung places and epic romance, or can she grab one last chance to have it all?

An uplifting, romantic story about friends, family and the relationships that make a place a home.

We are following Elle in her journey to follow her dreams, achieve big things, connecting with family and friends, and finding love. This is the perfect summer read, if you are looking for one right now. Claire Huston, takes us in the Elle’s past sometimes and we follow her through the years. We learn to know her and all the other characters, but also get attached to the others and Haileybrook, this little village Elle has always wanted to runaway from. I loved how this book wasn’t just about the romance, it was also about dreams, family, friends, having to step back and how life can be unpredictable. Elle has to make so many big choices during the whole novel. Also, t’s not a typical romance with the love at first sight trope, or enemies to lovers etc… I was really surprised with how the romance went, but I wasn’t disappointed!

Elle’s is not the only characters we get discover through the years, there are also Serena, Toby, Adam, Lucie, Zach, her auntie, her dad and many more… We are also seeing Haileybrook’ expands through the years and its changements.

Elle is a blogger, and if you are a blogger you’ll get to connect with her at least on this point! Oh and she’s a bookworm as well! My favourite part is probably the emails exchange between Elle and another character, I thought it added something to this novel, and I just really liked this.

And the end! Hell yes! I have nothing else to add.

I highly recommend to read this book, it’s perfect if you are looking for a romance, a fiction (not YA!) for this summer at the beach or I don’t know, anywhere you’ll be!
