I received an e-copy of this children’s picture book for free in exchange for an honest review. Thank you Love Books Tours and the author.

A little dachshund ensues on a chase of something sparkly floating through the sky, vowing to return it to its rightful owner. Follow Siggy as he dashes through the village, saying hello to his friends and neighbors, but staying focused on the task at hand. Will Siggy be able to keep his promise? Come along for a joyful, rollicking tale with vibrant illustrations, sharing in the happiness and beauty of everyday life. Young children will enjoy the escapades of sweet little Siggy while learning lessons about keeping promises and unexpected rewards.
You need help? Siggy is here to help you. When a plastic bag flies away, siggy has one mission: recovering it to its owner without giving in to all the temptation the way. Siggy is a dachshund who can speak to anyone, or so he thinks.
It’s a beautiful little story. I did not read it with my little ones but on my own because I knew they couldn’t stay attentive that long as they are too young still for such a “long” story. The illustrations are stunning though. It’s a story about kindness as Siggy helps someone and even though he’s being tempted during his whole journey he keeps in mind his goal.
