If you know me you know how much The Wanted means to me and how much I love them! I was so excited when they announced their comeback early September! I’m so proud of them and I’m so excited to see all the amazing songs they are going to release.
The band decided to split in January 2014, it was the most heartbreaking new ever. They then went on with their solo projects ! (Which were as amazing but I mean I’ve always missed them all together)
They all stayed in the music industry with their own solo music projects, but also musical, etc.
On the 08th September 2021, they announced their comeback and their first time back on stage together was on the 20th of September for the charity concert “Inside my head” raising money for Stand Up 2 Cancer – in support to Tom who has been diagnosed with an inoperable brain tumour which he announced in October 2020.
Their first single back together is “Rule The World” and we were blessed with the song and the music video on the same day ! How amazing ? So exciting !
I love the music, the lyrics, the video. It’s giving me so many “Battleground” (their second album) vibes! This is so exciting!
The band will be going on a tour (UK) early 2022. And I’m so excited to hear them sing their songs live again.
I want to hear so many of their songs live, like – Lie To Me, Rocket, I’ll Be Your Strength, Golden, Hi & Low, Everybody Knows, In The Middle, Let’s Get Ugly, and more but there’s only one song I don’t want them to sing…. “Walks Like Rihanna” please please please don’t!
I’m so happy they are back and I don’t have enough words to express how much I love them and how happy I truly am to have them back.
