Can you believe that January is already over? It felt like we were celebrating Christmas yesterday! I’m so excited to share with you my wrap-up for January 2022.
My wraps-ups are going to be a bit different from now on- I decided to not only share about my reading but also about what happened with the blog and anything else that I’d like to share with you.
⇢ What I read in January…
I’m actually very pleased and surprised by my reading this month, I did not think I would read that much and so many good books. I started the month with a five stars novel which I added to my coup de coeur list (coup de coeur means that you really loved it- like a favourite). When there’s a heart next to five stars that means it’s a coup de coeur.

Ten books in January.

I’ve also started “The Legacy” by Elle Kennedy (Book 5) and “La Carte des Confins” by Marie Reppelin- both will be in my February wrap-up.
⇢ In my Reading/Blogging journal- my Goals for the month…
I’ve never shared about it on my blog but I have a reading and blogging journal which I use to keep track of my blog and my reading but also to give myself goals for each month.
Every month I set a goal of how many posts I want to write and share, this month I had set four for both which I did. Then I set a goal of books I want to read, in January my goal was to read four books (which I obviously did) and to read one book from my 2022 TBR- here’s the post– and I read two from this list. I had a goal to write 1500 words which I completely failed because I only wrote 295 words (blog post don’t count, it’s only for my novels ideas). The last goal I’m going to share with you is the one on top of my list and it’d how many views I’m hoping to reach every month on the blog. In January, it was 200 views- I know that it’s nothing for most bloggers but I don’t have a big blog so that’s big for me and I reached this goal on January 19th, which was so exciting. There was a total of 334 views/visits on the blog in January, which again I know it’s not much for most people but it’s huge and I’m so pleased.
⇢ What did I crochet …
I crocheted a total of 08 ‘projects’.
- One scrunchie. (Link)
- A kindle case (can be used for anything else but I made it for my kindle). (Link)
- Three beanies. (Link 1 – I made two of this one) (Link 2)
- An ice-cream. (Link)
- An otter. (Link)
- A bunny. (Link)
Keeping track of my goals is so important to me, and it helps me a lot to stay motivated and productive. I’m so excited to see how well January went for me and I hope the month went well for you too. I can’t wait to see how February goes.
Oh and I forgot to share about it, but I also changed the blog layout. Unfortunately, I don’t have a before… but here’s a little screenshot from the laptop version of the blog. I’m hoping to manage to find how to change the menus because I’m still not 100% satisfied with the look of the blog.

Happy February to all of you, hopefully it will be an amazing month. Don’t forget that there are only 28 days this year in February. (I see you if you keep sharing news happening on the 29th of February, this is not fair.)

You’ve inspired me to focus on spending more time reading; I get so much joy out of it but have let it go recently. The books you’ve listed seem really entertaining — I will have to check some of them out!

I’m planning on reading Across a Field of Starlight this month!
And congratulations on the blog views! I’m in a similar position where 300 blog views a month is huge, so heck yeah, celebrate it!

Look at you go! Reading, blogging, and crocheting like an absolute pro! I read Happily Ever Afters last year, and while I won’t say it was one of my favorites, I definitely thought it was super cute. Will you be reading One True Loves (the sequel)?

Thank you so so much! 😀 It is so cute, absolutely loved it, and yes I have it on my kindle and can’t wait to read it, to be honest, (maybe this month)! Are you going to read the sequel? 😀

I’ve heard great things about Happily Ever Afters so it’s good to see you enjoyed it too. Think I need to add it to my TBR!

Sounds like you had a productive month! And kudos to your for reading so many books in January. And here I thought I was doing something by aiming to read one book per month haha. I never considered a reading/blogging journal but it is definitely something I would like to try out. Thank you for sharing!
