Not gonna lie, I’m very happy 2022 is over. Not that I think that changing on number in the date is going to change much about life in general but eh at least 2022 is over now.
2022 was disappointing. And that’s all I’ll say.
But I’m gonna try and keep in mind only the good memories from that year- which would be the moment I’ve spent with family, my little ones obviously, getting to travel again and it’s still feel very surreal but meeting my favourite author- Adam Silvera.
I’m not setting any goals or resolutions for my life in 2023, but I have a few challenges when it comes to the book community and I’m super excited about them.
Finished my 2022 reading challenge is 72 books after setting my challenge to 60. Super happy about that.

Now let’s talk about 2023 reading challenges!!!
Set my Goodreads challenge to 50 books. I know it’s lower than last year, but I don’t want to put pressure on myself just because I managed to go over last year, reading is meant to be fun and relaxing so I don’t want it to become a burden. (also because I’m currently binge watching The Walking Dead and after that I kind of want to binge re watch some other shows because it’s another form of fun and relaxing moment! Yes, no I know TWD is not relaxing to watch but it is for me, don’t judge me!)

Then I’m doing the 23 books in 2023! I did not feel like doing it last year but this year I’m super excited about it!

And last but not least- the 12 books by 12 friends challenge! (I have 15 because I had 3 bonus pick I couldn’t not add to it!)

Here are my 2023 reading challenge! Then I want to crochet and cross stitch even more, because that’s another relaxing thing for me!
I’ll stop there but yes goodbye 2022, you won’t be missed. Please 2023 be less disappointing, and be more kind to us- it would be very nice.
Wishing you all a happy new year,
Morgane x
All the best for your reading challenge and 2023. Hope 2023 will be a better year for you.
